In partnership with Generations City, the Yellow Ribbon Project visited prisons in Indonesia in 2023 and 2024, reaching facilities in Jakarta, Manado, and Denpasar. During these visits, they provided meals for every prisoner and distributed copies of Golden Haze, Jade’s book, which had been translated into Bahasa Indonesia. Jade shared her story and the team performed Amazing Grace.

Jade met with government officials, superintendents, and prison chiefs to gain insight into the Indonesian prison system and explore how they support rehabilitation and reintegration for inmates.
